KINGSWAY
FOR THE COLLECTORS, THE ENTERTAINERS, AND THE COLOUR LOVERS.
KINGSWAY, ETOBICOKESome homes simply need time to find their voice. Although this Kingsway residence had already undergone renovation, it still felt like a blank canvas—beautifully finished, yet missing the warmth and personality of the couple who had recently made it their own. With demanding careers, a busy social calendar, and a love of entertaining, they envisioned a home that felt every bit as vibrant and welcoming as the life unfolding within it.
Our work focused on reimagining the primary suite as a sequence of spaces that feel restorative, practical, and deeply personal. The existing ensuite retained its footprint but took on an entirely new character through bold blue tile, richly textured terrazzo, and carefully considered fixtures. Nearby, an underused bedroom was transformed into a generous dressing room, thoughtfully designed around the rituals of everyday life.
“The most memorable homes aren’t the quietest—they’re the most personal.”
Colour became the thread that quietly connected each space. Wallpaper introduces softness, tactile fabrics bring warmth, and layered furnishings balance two distinct personalities—one drawn to playful pattern, the other to timeless simplicity. Rather than competing for attention, every material works together to create depth, character, and ease.
Today, the home feels entirely settled. It welcomes friends without ceremony, offers moments of calm between busy schedules, and reflects the people who live there with honesty and warmth. It isn’t simply beautifully designed—it feels unmistakably theirs.
DESIGN NOTES
COLOUR SHOULD FEEL LIVED WITH, NOT SIMPLY INTRODUCED.
Bold moments become timeless when they’re balanced by natural materials and thoughtful restraint.
BEAUTIFUL ROUTINES DESERVE BEAUTIFUL SPACES.
Designing around everyday rituals often creates the most meaningful luxury.
THE MOST PERSONAL HOMES ARE NEVER AFRAID TO REVEAL THEIR CHARACTER.
Individuality will always outlast trends.
